The Lumin is not only good at sanitizing CPAP equipment it can sanitize things such as toothbrushes, hearing aids, or even dentures. Since there are no chemicals used the Lumin is able to sanitize more then just your CPAP supplies.

Unlike the So Clean that uses ozone, the Lumin uses UV light to sanitize the items in the tray. This is a safe alternative to using chemicals to clean equipment. If equipment is not handled properly then the chemicals could be harmful. This is similar to how hospitals sanitize and clean all of their medical equipment. It is important to keep in mind that your tubing cannot go into the Lumin. As the UV light can pass through the tubing, it does not sanitize this item. The best alternative is to take lukewarm soap and run it through your tubing, followed but letting it drip dry.
