The ResMed AirSense 11 HumidAir CPAP Water Tub is a device that holds water for the humidifier of the AirSense 11 CPAP and BiPAP machines. The humidifier adds moisture to the air you breathe through your CPAP mask, preventing dryness and irritation in your nose, mouth, and throat. The water tub is compatible with all AirSense 11 models, such as the AirSense 11 Auto.
The water tub is designed to be hand washed daily with mild soap and warm water. Once a week, the tub may be washed on the top shelf in the dishwasher. The water tub is easily accessible and removable. To remove the tub from the humidifier, you just need to locate the thin tab on the top of the humidifier and gently push it forward to release the humidifier wall. Then, you can lift the clear tub out of the unit. If the water tub has been filled with water, be careful not to spill it into the device.
The water tub has a capacity of 380 milliliters and can use tap, bottled, or distilled water. Distilled water is recommended to avoid mineral buildup and prolong the tub's life. The tub also has fill lines that indicate the optimal water level for safe operation. Do not overfill or underfill the tub, as this may affect the performance of the humidifier and the CPAP therapy.
